recommends needed for softwares/packages

yeh, i tried everything i read about in regards to gtkpod and all that
stuff, errors all the time,,, i do have the one older mp3 player working
fine, a benq joybee, (after winblows xp refusing to recognize it, the
linux system has no problems whatsoever!) and well, i will just go buy
another similar player as i am suspecting this ipod and windblows
nonsense is the real problem, also, propietary software and all the
related issues, life is just too short as it is now... so, yeh, i quit
trying with ipods and will just acquire another Real mp3 player......

thanks for all the suggestions and sorry to have wasted all your time on
this, i will just make do with what i got.,.. life goes so much easier
this way... :):):)
