Hi:
I'm very very very new to Ubuntu. Downloaded and installed Ubuntu on a
dedicated computer last week. That computer has an old 6 gig HD in it
right now as a Ubuntu test platform. Just bought a 200 gig HD to
replace it after I explore Ubuntu more.
I have not had any time since the install to play with it but I am very
anxious to learn more about Ubuntu and Linux software.
I see a meeting coming up in Toronto this weekend for Ubuntu newbies but
I don't have time to go this weekend.
I'm wondering if anyone can point me to resource on the internet for
Ubuntu newbies.
I would like to determine if I can migrate to Ubuntu (and leave Windows)
totally and what software is available for Ubuntu.
I would also like to be able to set Ubuntu up as a file server for my
home business. I have three people who work for me in my home office
and a file server is needed. Any recommendations on software and were
to get it would be great.
