Similar thing here in LinuxMint 10.

Today I wanted to burn an .flv-file as video-dvd.

What I did:
I inserted an empty 4.7 GB DVD+R and opened Brasero.
There I chose "new project" and "Video-DVD". Then I added the file. Afterwards I pressed the button "burn" and all what happened was, that Brasero disappeared from the screen without giving any error-message.

So it seems to be impossible at the time, to burn video-dvds with
Brasero. So I would like to konw, if there is any alternative program,
which I can burn working video-dvds with.
