Folks,
I look forward to seeing all of you on September 11th between the
hours of 10AM and 2PM EST, which translates to 1400 to 1800 UTC or 2PM
to 6PM for those not accustomed to 24 hour clocks, for the first ever
Kernel Triage Sumit! :-) The information and schedule is available on
the Fridge Calendar. [1]
We will be holding a general session at 1400 covering general kernel
team information as well as the new subsystem breakdown of bugs. This
will be followed by a session on Graphics, a session on Audio and
finally a session on the various hardware stacks. Each of these sessions
will be geared toward providing the tools necessary to conduct a basic
level of triage on the relevant bugs. There will also be reference
material noted online for further review. This information, as well as
some of the possible topics of the sessions is available on the wiki.
[2]
Your feedback on the usefulness of these sessions is welcome. Please
send us some feedback after the event to the kernel team mailing list at
kernel-team at lists.ubuntu.com.
Hope to see many of you there!
~JFo
