Standard answer for long standing bugs

Hi,

I've been going through samba bugs below 90000 in a 'New, Unconfirmed'
state, which means that they are quite old. 

I was wondering if there is a standard answer for bugs that were
reported a long time ago, but we're not sure if the reporter is still
available, has more information, etc..., a sort of 'ping ! Is this bug
still valid after such a long time ?'.
