[Ubuntu-BR] Problemas ao instalar Sun Studio 12 no Ubuntu

Eu estou usando o Java 6...
Quando eu abro o instaler, surgem milhares de erros, abre o GUI de
instalação, mas com erros.

Os erros no terminal são vários, não sei se vale por eles aqui, mas são
assim

[%{FILESIZES} %{FILENAMES}
] ../packages-intel-Linux/sun-plsx-12.0-1.x86_64.rpm, assuming no files to
install
ExecuteCommand Error: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "/bin/rpm":
java.io.IOException: error=2, No such file or directory


achei estranho, parse rpm files... eu baixei esse : *Linux (x86) Platform -
Sun Studio 12 Package Install*
