ubuntu 9.04 on sony vaio z11vn

running update manager through GUI, bluez package failed to install:
Version 4.32-0ubuntu4.1: 

  * debian/hid2hci.rules:
    - Update rule to work properly with newer version of udev. (LP: #330934)

running update manager from the terminal gives the following error:

/var/lib/python-support/python2.6/dbus/connection.py:242: DeprecationWarning: object.__init__() takes no parameters
  super(Connection, self).__init__(*args, **kwargs)
