Onderwerp: Website theme meeting next week

Hello everyone, I'm the Ubuntu.com and Canonical.com webmaster.
Canonical announced some time ago forthcoming changes to the look of the
main Ubuntu website (you can see the details at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Brand ). I'm happy to tell you that we hope soon
to release it to the public. Sorry, I'm not going to list a date because
I want it to be a surprise (and also because some of the key pieces are
still being reviewed and adjusted).

I'm grateful for all of the comments from people asking to help. Some of
you who manage a loco team or community website are eager to use the new
look as well.

I'd like to take some time to discuss with all of you interested people
what's going to happen and also to talk about how we can best work
together to coordinate our efforts creating new themes.

Therefore I'm proposing a meeting for one week from now, Thursday, May
20th at 16:00 UTC.

This meeting is for you if:

 * You are using or want to use a community managed theme for your
official community site
 * You want to help make a community managed theme

You don't need to attend if you just want to learn when the new site is
launching. I won't tell. :-)

The details are at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Website/NewBrandLaunchMeeting

If you cannot attend the meeting at that time don't worry. I'll update
the above page with the important information and I'll summarize it back
to the web presence team and loco contacts mailing lists.
