at 23.59 hr.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BelgianTeam/PromotionMaterial/ProposalsT-shirts
The t-shirts team will organize a poll (closing date: 26/12/2010) to
select the design and the t-shirts brand and printing service. The set
up of the poll will be worked on by the team.
Everybody has the opportunity to get engaged in the Ubuntu community by
participating to this project.
If everything goes well, the t-shirts will be ready during January.
b. Ubuntu and Education : no new information
c. Remember: we need a new French press contact, as the current
contact has resigned for personal reason. No information yet.
d. Promotion banners
It is confirmed that Canonical will deliver an Ubuntu banner to our LoCo
Team. Size is unknown.
If we need additional banners, it can be done in do-it-yourself (as
Genk-Hasselt team did) or we could look for a few rollup's 85 x 200
(support is included) (for example, http://www.rollup-express.com/).
3. Update Wiki Belgian Team
Next week, the Dipro fairs 2010 pages will be moved to the “Past events”.
4. Support points map status
A new support points map is under development.
On the web-site, there is no information about registration for new
support points. A bug report has been written :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-belgium/+bug/682183.
More generally, the pages "Participate" should be updated and an
additional page should be added with more explanation about support
points, details of responsibilities, commitments, tips and procedure
"How to join as support point ?".
This item is added to the agenda for the next IRC meeting.
woutervddn joined the Ubuntu-be - webeditor team.
5. Next IRC meeting on Thursday 16/12/2010 at 21.00 hr. (last meeting in
2010)
