I've discussed with a local non profit association in Charleroi called Papy-PC.
They create some jobs for non working people and learn them to recycle computer.
Then they sell computers at low price to permit to everybody to have a computer.
They are not able to GIVE something to us, but as the price are
low.... they have a stock of Compaq small format computers with CPU
like Celeron 400, no HD and No CD.
They are talking about a price of 10 euros / piece.
They should have between 10 and 20 pieces in stock.
As the budget of Ubuntu is too low to BUY this, what about making a
public asking to everybody to the list to sponsor it ?
I will take one of them those days to test if it is conform with the
requirements, and then we will decide if it is interesting for us or
not.
Please give advice.
