Hi all ...
Another new member introducing himself :)
I have been lurking this list for a while now, time to become active :)

I have been working as a project manager within the IT department of a
rather large regional hospital. My main job was convincing people to
start using new automated systems. Hence, i can say i had the most
difficult audience, being doctors and nurses (said by i nurse himself :p ).
After a few years i was migrated fulltime to the IT department (my desk
was there already :p ) and started as a system engineer playing mostly
with AS/400, Solaris and NT.

After some travelling around in different sectors, i started my own
business (beside my self-employed healthcare activities).
This business is ICT related, implementing open source solutions for
non-profits, healthcare and schools. My focus is working with
non-technical users and decision makers, for whom the principal of
'plug-and-play' is the holy grail.

I have been involved for some time in the OpenOffice.org project as a
marketing contact for Belgium.

My main interests are project management and marketing (why would i join
 this project :p ?).

I'm online 24/24, 7 days a week.
