Too slow sadly. The only software packages that do not require idiot
style write access on Windows, are open source packages.
Even the latest versions of AutoCAD don't run with a read-only C-drive
(except the docs-n-sets of the user, which is writable).

If I could, I would migrate all my 250 workstations to Ubuntu ... Would
be better for my heart.
