I googled this page up [1]. It is quite technical, but in short it is
like this. When you visit a website, your browser sends an
Accept-Language header to the webserver. This states the language(s) you
prefer. You can see this setting in Firefox: Edit -> Preferences ->
General -> Languages. More information in [2] and [3].
