[Ubuntu-BD] Avro problem in Mint 11

Hello,
A few days ago I have installed Linux Mint 11. Before that I use
Ubuntu 10.10 and successfully use the Avro keyboard in that.

But I am unable to use it in Mint 11. I installed the avro from the
source as well as the scim. And select "Scim" from the list.
But when I press Ctrl+Space the keyboard wont change to avro!

Can anybody help??
