So,
Set at your gnome-ppp
ttyACM0 as your modem
and
set speed as 460k
and at  Init string add  the 3rd Init string as   AT+CGDCONT=1,,"gpinternet"

at teh dialer  prompt  use  phonenumber as     *99#  or  *99***# or *99***1#
use  username as  x and also password as x

This should work just fine.

You didn't paste the content of   /etc/wvdial.conf

see my tutorial at that page.... replace the modem name as   ttyACM0 and
other things will be almost same. :)
