Public bug reported:

Please backport scratch 1.4.0.6~dfsg1-1 (universe) from quantal to
precise.

Reason for the backport:
========================
Scratch is a popular app to teach children programming. It was requested for Ubuntu
3 years ago (LP: #403270) and Debian 4 years ago.

Build log on Precise:
https://launchpad.net/~jbicha/+archive/dev/+build/3619555

Testing:
========
Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing.

You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s quantal -d precise scratch

* precise:
[X] Package builds without modification
[X] scratch installs cleanly and runs

No reverse dependencies

** Affects: precise-backports
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
