Upgrade to 12.04

Hi all.

I upgraded to 12.04 this morning and I've lost the Unity launcher bar on
the left of the screen and the menu along the top.  Everything else seems
to work fine - windows are displaying correctly etc.  When I log in with
the guest account the Unity launcher bar and the top menu work as expected,
just not within my personal account.

Any ideas how to get this back?
