Evolution "error while synchronising inbox"

Hi Simon,

I am not sure what Evolution is actually doing when it "synchronises"
upon closing a Directory?

But by emptying such a Directory it seems there is nothing to
synchronise so it sets itself to "zero" and, thus, removes whatever is
irritating it. When the emails are moved back into the Directory it
does a fresh, uncorrupted(?), synchronisation.

Because I have several Directories the whole process was tedious.

Anyway, that's my work-around after trying a few I happened across via
Google.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Dave W
