linux hardware shops

Apple is a hardware company, not a software company. They design devices
that people will want to use, then design an operating system to fit with
their idea of style. They make money of ipods, phones, and computers, only
one of which has software. They also make alot of money doing it.

Linux on the other hand is a software, one that makes no money and has no
marketing budget. Its bad business to create a computer store to sell
prebuilt systems for an OS that only 10-15% of the market uses, and most of
that market builds their own computers.

HOWEVER, you can go to some shops in Queensland like Gamedude and Umart that
will let you select parts for them to custom build a machine that will run
Linux.
