They design devices that people will want to use, then design an operating system to fit with their idea of style. They make money of ipods, phones, and computers, only one of which has software. They also make alot of money doing it.</div> <div><br></div><div>Linux on the other hand is a software, one that makes no money and has no marketing budget.
