Firefox problem

Glad you're enjoying Ubuntu!

About your Dodo USB - does this USB device connect you to ADSL or 3G 
Wireless?

A couple of steps you could take to help find the problem. All of these 
are done in a Terminal, it's just easier that way ...


(1) SEE CONNECTION STATS
  - Terminal Command : ifconfig
  - Check to see that your PPP0 or similar shows you have an IP Address

(2) SEE IF YOU CAN CONNECT TO AN IP ADDRESS
  - Terminal Command : ping 202.6.141.215
  - See if you get "replies" or do you get nothing
  - Either way, wait 30 seconds then press CTRL+C
  - You'll see some stats at the bottom - take note of these

(3) SEE IF YOU CAN LOOK AT A WEB PAGE
  - If (2) gave you replies, go to firefox and try http://202.6.141.215
  - Does this work?
