Hi Winton,

I work for Adam Internet (Adelaide), and I get a lot of customers asking
me exactly the same thing.

My answer is - provided the ISP-supplied router is decent, has good
features and a 2+ year warranty, you should go with whatever they offer.

The reason is that if you ever have a problem with your service, you can
get FULL support from the ISP. If you supply your own hardware, it makes
it really hard for the support staff to do their job and therefore any
issues may take longer to solve.

Just make sure it's a "decent" router, and has a good warranty.

If you did want to supply your own, ask the ISP what models they know to
work OK - don't expect a miracle answer, but they should be able to at
least point you in the right direction.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Callan
