Can I use Debian DVD's to install on Ubuntu

Hi Winton,

This might be some help to you,  iirc there is a net install CD around
somewhere for ubuntu and it works like the Debian net install CD.  The
net install CD does a base install on the machine and the from there
you can select the packages you wish to install.

And if you are installing the same packages on all the systems you may
like to have a look at this how to to save yourself sometime -
