I just bought a dell laptop because I didnt think they would be out with
Ubuntu for a while.
My feisty CD was in before it got a chance to boot vista for the first time.
Two issues though if anybody out there has a Dell XPS M1210 as well:
Dell Bluetooth 355 module:
I have to issue the commands:
hciconfig hci0 down
hciconfig hci0 up
before it will communicate with any devices. I have added these commands to
/etc/rc.local and the appropriate HAL scripts.
Anybody know any other work-arounds?
Internal Conexant modem:
Anybody know of drivers other than the linuxant ones?
And how reliable are the licenced linuxant drivers?
