Brisbane gathering (Sun 21/1/07 2pm)

Hi all!

Time to try again for a gathering of Brisbane Ubuntites!

Pete Brown and I are proposing Sunday 21st of January at Spoon Cafe
Paddington (at the Paddington Central Shopping Centre on Latrobe Tce).
They have Heinekin on tap, reasonably good coffee (1 out of 2 Macchiatos
was OK wasn't it Pete?) and free wireless Internet access.

This should be pretty central to everyone and if required we can try
another venue for the next one etc.

How about we start at 2pm until 5pm or so (at least that's when I need
to leave anyway)?

It would be a good chance to meet up with a few of the local Ubunuts
(did I make that up?!) and talk about Ubuntu & Linux in general.

If anyone on the list has a laptop they might be having problems with
then they can bring it along for some help or just bring along your
questions and we'll see if we can help.  I'll have a laptop there
(Dapper).

Pete and I would also like to see who is interested in working together
from a business point of view.  We both provide Linux consulting and
would like to meet others in the same game or maybe even interested in
getting into it.

Hope to see a few of you there...
