Installation of programs and Keymanager ?

If you want to start beryl, bring up a terminal and type:
     beryl-manager

You should see the red gem appear in a toolbar. However if it dosent 
work properly there could be any number of issues that might be really 
complicated to diagnose.

If you are using Edgy with an intel 3D video card, you might be in luck, 
but if it dosent work try the beryl wiki on  
http://wiki.beryl-project.org/wiki/Main_Page

You might have to mess about with video card drivers and Xorg 
configuration etc etc etc.
