Successfuly Feisty upgrade

Just to help people keep faith in the Ubuntu upgrade process I have
successfully upgraded my laptop from Edgy to Feisty using the Update
Manager with NO problems (that I have found yet ;-).
The upgrade process prompted me for changes that had been made to some
system daemon configs (eg SSH) and I took the new config in each case.
Once the upgrade had completed I rebooted and it came straight back to
the logn screen (GDM). I logged in and my wireless connection was
re-established, gaim connected to irc/MSN/jabber, Evolution downloaded
my email and here I am productive already!
My only comment is that the download took a LONG time because it
connected to some server in France?! Fortunately, I knew how to
download most of the 1G of updates from the INternode mirror prior to
starting the upgrade or it would have been more than overnight to
download.
About to test suspending to RAM...screen stays blank (well, just
backlit) on resume. Time to check out the forums about the ATI
proprietary driver that I am running...
Otherwise, well done Ubuntu!
