Swap space not working

Hi folks,

I've been running Ubuntu on my laptop and regularly upgraded since
Hoary. The other week I decided to install Xubuntu Edgy and get rid of
any unecessary Gnome stuff. Now I have noticed that my swap space isn't
working, and I have no idea how to fix it.

The message in kernel log is:
"Unable to find swap-space signature"

Any ideas what has gone wrong?

Thanks
Mark
