why my systems hang?

Hi,

The X Server environment runs on virtual console 7. Hitting ctrl-alt-F1
switches to the first virtual console and ctrl-alt-F7 switches back to
console 7.  It seems that doing this 'wakes up' the X server.

No it's not the same as windows' ctrl-alt-delete.  As far as I know
there is no Linux equivalent (<braces for cluebat onslaught>).
