Woops! Also forgot to mention that things like moving your drives around 
(particularly SATA drives, though they should all use libata now), or to 
different buses can also cause issues.

Basically, give it a shot, but keep a liveCD handy, and I'm sure you'll be 
able to get it going easy enough.
