Printing to a windows print server.

On  a corporate network running dapper drake.
All printers that I want to use run an NT based RIP (EFI firey XP12 1.1
if you want to know).
I'm running DAPPER  and am having a nasty time getting the thing to print.
tied Cups, SMB, Unix Lpr  all to no avail. Of course EFI only support
windows or Max osX.
Any one else been able to communicate with this type of print server?
