You aren't the only one. The position of the icons on the left has
some merit, it allows more grabbable space at the top of the window
and looks elegant. It's also near the menus etc. and it's something I
can get used to.

The bug is the ordering of the minimize and maximize buttons which
have been swapped for no obvious reason, have similar icons so you now
you have to actively think about which you are clicking, also more
importantly, it breaks other themes, it can't be reverted without
breaking the default themes, and doesn't work with the Gnome theme
appearances. It's also the opposite way to both OSX and Windows so
will be confusing for users of those operating systems and upgraders
of previous Ubuntu versions. I'm also sure we'll find other places in
Gnome where this ordering doesn't work correctly, which of course can
be patched, but I haven't yet seen any explanation for causing
everyone a load of work (for theme designers, programmers and users).

I would request/suggest that the minimize/maximize buttons are swapped
back, but the icons remain at the top left.
