I think the most important part is just to give someone a
fair warning about it. I'm new to mailing lists, and someone kindly
explained top-posting to me, and now I try not to do it. If
people do it repetitively, then I can see how it would be
aggravating, but otherwise, try a friendly message to clue
the offender in.
