[ubuntu-art] gallery aka art.ubuntu.com

Hi all,

We discussed using a gallery for easier user contribution at the meeting and 
I'd like to pick up this topic and get the ball rolling.

It seems like we have a couple of options:

1) create a new art.ubuntu.com
     If we decide on this we need to figure out exactly what we need. There
     has been discussion as to exactly what we need on the mailing list, see
     that for more info

2) just use ubuntu-art.org and let it be at that
     The person who does the *-look.org sites is a good friend of mine and
     after talking to him it seems that he has a pretty good system in place.

     We could perhaps point the art.ubuntu.com domain at that site but I am
     not sure if that would fly with the company as they own the domain and
     there have been issues with server security in the recent past.
