[ubuntu-art] Dark Themes Again

Hi,
I'm new to this mailing-list, but I'm interested in how the new Ubuntu
will take shape. I have been using Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10 for some months
now, and I'm very happy with it.
However, I think the brown standard theme of today looks terrible... If
I couldn't customize it, I would probably switch to Fedora or something
just because of that...
I would prefer a theme which uses shades of light-grey, with a little
tint of color in it (blue?). If you use that as a "base", you can add a
color to it, probably orange for Ubuntu. If you take a look at my
current desktop, you can see how I use the shades of grey, a bit of
black, and green. If you switched the green for orange, that would be
more what I would like to see for Ubuntu (of course without my conky,
custom menu-button etc...):

And I also believe it's a good idea to provide a dark theme. Personally
I don't use dark themes much, although it does happen, but I know people
who do use it. It should be the user's choice...
Thanks!
