Thanks Troy, that's a great bit of organisation and makes the options
that much clearer!

Can I ask that we go through the options and delete (permanently) those
which:

 (a) use too many colours [16 including black and white is all thats
allowed]
 (b) are not correctly scaled

Let's also ask that there be an image with every pixel 2x vertically
and  horizontally so that on a normal high res LCD you can get a better
sense of what it will look like at boot time (the 600x400 images are
small so the pixellation looks smooth on a 1024x768 screen).
