[ubuntu-art] Inconsistence of gradients and artwork colors

Hello,

I completely agree with Petr, Billy, Andreas, my two brothers,  
friends (ploum for one of known people on the web) on Jabber with  
which i talked about that, etc. and you (daniel) say it's my  
personnal point of view ? And you advice us to let some people  
introduce their subjective opinion as objective quality of dapper  
artwork ?

Sorry, i don't understand what is for you an objective quality !

I already said that i like title bar. I like the caramel colour. I  
like each wallpaper since Warty. I like gdm theme. I love usplash  
theme. I largely prefer the current titlebar.

Hey, take a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/

carefuly the sentence :

"Ubuntulooks now has a less orange and more caramel color tone.  
Caramelicious goodness!"

As you see caramel is a good choice, like chocolate was. People like  
it. But obviously, less orange make people happier. I've juste talk  
with a friend to which i send a livecd last week, he really share  
similiar feeling about that artwork.

Please open your mind, pleaaaase !

We do not say : "Remove that artwork and go blue !" !!!! We send you  
advice to polish your work. We just want a real polish artwork for an  
actually *dapper* drake. Trust us ! We actually wish wonderful  
artwork for dapper.

Tiny changes can make the artwork really better :

blend together for juste two point : colour and "glasses effect".  
There is also a bug about the progress bar contrast which is not  
sufficient.

A progress bar with similar gradient and colour from title bar would  
be great. Please just test a version and send us screenshot.

Petr, your mockup is consistent, but the orange is too sharp. That's  
even painful for some eyes (mine and father too).

Also i repeat : please be consistent with *all* artwork from Win  
autorun to usplash down progress bar ! That's the way the drake will  
be dapper.
