Yes, that's the way it is for me too. I subscribe to lists that do it
both ways. There are arguments for both I think. For "discussion" type
lists (like this) I prefer replies that go to the list. For "question
and answer" type lists I can see a good argument for doing it the way
we have it now. (Usually the individual recieves the reply much faster
than if the reply is sent to the list).
