Can evince-gtk be kicked from the archive?

Hi,

it is still needed as evince is still having its gnome deps and
upstream does not seem to want to get non-gnome patches in. I was
thinking of updating to latest, to at least have the same upstream
code base. I hope I can do it in the next few days.
evince is an alternate, yes, but by default we do not ship that as it
brings in too many other packages.

The situation is somewhat better with
gnome-system-tools/xubuntu-system-tools, they at least are the exact
same orig.tar.gz (upstream took our patches) but are built with
different config options. That could be more easily ditched but it
would lose bug-buddy integration in Ubuntu and Seb does not wish that.

I'll take a look at evince.
thanks
