Can evince-gtk be kicked from the archive?

Hi,

evince-gtk lags behind the real evince in Feisty, and xubuntu-desktop
recommends evince-gtk | evince. Is evince-gtk still needed? If not, I
would really like to kick it out of the archive to avoid having two
different codebases.
