10.4 problems

Hello, List

I am running ubuntu 10.4, because it is an LTS. I have three things I have trouble in fixing:

1. How do I enable braille support in orca? I checked the enable braille support option in the prefrences dialogue box. My second problem is related to this.

2. How do I get brltty to work/function with my display? I am using a Focus 40 blue from freedomscientific. After reading the documentation, I did the following as root:

"brltty -bauto -d/dev/ttyUSB0"

I see my device in "lsbusb" so I know it is picked up by the system. I know it is working, because JAWS has no trouble with it.

3. Whenever I press Alt-CTRL-D I go to the desktop fine. How do I get to the top and bottom pannels? Alt-Ctrl-tab does not work. Why?

Anny help will be appreciated, please. I am tired of Windows...

Kindly
Hendrik
