Hold off on that. There has been a lot of upheaval in karmic over the past 24 hours or so, due to some new boot piecesa being put in place, which has caused some breakage. Go ahead and try it out if you like with the latest daily live CD, but just be aware that things may break when you update to the latest packages.

I'll let the list know when things appear to be 100% sorted.
