is there still a way to make help axcessable?

Hi, some time ago someone had a way to make help accessible. I think he had a patch that worked with firefox to do this.
I used it at the time and found it to work well, except that every time yelp was updated it had to be installed again.
Anyway, I lost the link to the patch. Does anyone still have it? If so will this patch still work in intrepid?
