is there a update on the live cd

Hi, is there any news as to when we will be able to install the live CD with orca again. I to found the way listed no longer works.
Just for the heck of it, I installed ubiquity on my computer that has ubuntu installed on it.
I used a live CD to install with the help of a sighted person. The CD is from three days ago. Anyway when I login as root I am able to run ubiquity. But, when I kill and run orca as we have to do when installing from the CD, orca does not speak like it did a few weeks ago.
Maybe a work around would be to enable the root account on the live CD.
