Unfortunately, the wiki is very much outdated, and needs a massive overhall. This has long been on the agenda, but as anybody knows, refactoring and replacing documentation is tedious, and hense gets shoved to the bottom of the priority stack. :)

Whatever help you can give, is most welcome. Since there is no place that has anything documented that is up to date, feel free to just jump in, and start helping out with something that you are interested in. You are also welcome to email me, either on or off list, and I will be happy to talk to you about accessibility related activities in Ubuntu. If you also use, or have used IRC, you can also join the freenode network, irc.freenode.net, and join the #ubuntu-accessibility channel. I'm always in there, so even if I am not at my machine, I will get any questions you may ask, and I will answer them in due course. However, if I am there, it makes for an easier way to chat about where things stand.

I look forward to hearing from you, and once again welcome any help you can offer. Accessibility is such an important area of software development, but it often gets overlooked, so its nice to see more people wanting to help.

Kind regards
Luke Yelavich
Ubuntu Accessibility Team leader.
