has anyone had this problem

Hi, I downloaded the latest live CD to day and had the same problem I have been having the last few days.
After doing the setup for orca it asks if I want to log out.
I say yes but it doesn't log out.
The problem I have is alt ctrl and backspace doesn't seem to force quit gnome like it use to.
Has there been a keyboard command change for this.
