new version of ubuntu

Hi, from what I have red, edgy is to be released at the end of this week.
What I would like to know is how long after a release does the first daily live CD of the next version come out.
Also will the installer on the desktop work with orca in the next version when it is in it's early stages.
I found edgy to be a big step forward in accessibility, and am sure the next version will be even better.
