Can universe be enabled from the command line?

Hi Al,

just a quick shot: I think it would be very easy to write a little bash 
script, which uncomment the universe line in source.list. I'm not familar 
with the problems of blind users, but I think, the next problem is how to 
access this script. Or maybe it isn't problem!?
