Hi everyone,

as stated on the page https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SpeakupInclusion the
screen reader speakup is supposed to be included in the ubuntukernel.
This is supposed to make an independent installation without seeing help
possible.

Is BRLTTY integrated as well, which would make an installation with
Braille display possible?

The installation of Debian Etch
http://people.debian.org/~joeyh/d-i/images/daily/netboot/mini.iso can be
done with a Braille display if one enters the following at the boot
prompt (example):
Install brltty=ht,ttyS0,de

I think it would be great if ubuntu could be installed with Braille
display as well.

Best regards, Simon.
