Ubuntu Express Accessibility

Great. It looks like the last part may have been cut off? "This extra
window" I will be happy to work on some of the low vision
configuration/packages needed. I didn't know if you had a template up yet,
or else I will throw up a table with

|v1|packages needed|configuration needed|

Something like that?

My friend Steve Kannel (20/1700) and I (20/200-20/400) are spending a lot
longer on the gnome-mag review than I originally planned. I would rather
this document be complete and well thought out/tested. As requested, we
will be doing some comparison with Zoomtext. Steve has also found some
success with using Vmware + linux + Zoomtext for testing and learning of
linux. This was a good way to put him through installation/start-up of AT
tools.

The date for the next meeting sounds good to me. Looking forward to working
with you all more,

Jason Grieves

Hi,

I've reworked the Ubuntu Express Accessibility page at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuExpress/Accessibility after chatting with
Colin about it before Xmas. The main focus will be on the gfxboot stage
which boots the Live CD session. If that Live CD session can be
furnished with assistive tools then we are a good part of the way to
providing an accessible install path.

We now need to work out in detail which packages and configuration files
need to be installed for each setting. Please add specific package names
to that page for those cases you are familiar with and attach config
files where that is warranted.

Thanks.

- Henrik
